Shot is a planned Mac app (coming soon) for screenshots with arrows, boxes, and real blur. Capture only on hotkey — no always-on recording. Nothing uploads in v1.
What it will do
- Region / window / full capture on hotkey
- Arrows, rectangles, step numbers
- Real pixelate blur for PII
- Copy or save PNG — local only in v1
- Planned price about $12–19 one-time after notarization
Not for sale yet. Planned ~$12–19 one-time (vs typical screenshot subscriptions). Ships only after Screen Recording permission UX is honest and blur is proven.
Waitlist
One email when a notarized build is ready. Privacy-first: we don't want your screenshots — only your email for launch.
FAQ
Available now?
No. Waitlist only.
Do you upload my screen?
No. v1 is local. Capture runs only when you press the hotkey.
Blur?
Must be real pixelation, not a transparent overlay. We'll prove it in screenshots before charge.
